Worth the money to buy in bulk, great productOctober 25, 2008 T. Fallon(MA, USA) Try buying these at a local retail store for less. I guarantee you will spend more money. I used to purchase this product at a local pet store and found they were very expensive and the size for the money was ridiculously over priced in the store. I now buy products like this and others (see my other reviews) in bulk from reliable vendors on Amazon, or from Amazon directly. If you end up buying a lot from Amazon, you can get free shipping on most products.
As for this product, I certainly recommend purchasing it here on Amazon, either from Amazon or a good vendor/seller. Buying in bulk online will not only save you money on the product but will also save you money on fuel costs. We all like to save money right? If your pet likes Greenies, these are worth the purchase.
I have two labrador retrievers who love to chew. We give them Merrick bones and these greenie products. This size is especially good for large breed dogs because as you know, being a large breed owner, large is good. Saving money on purchasing online is even better.
You may be asking yourself whether the product is safe to buy online. I thought the same thing at one time. As soon as I found a good and reliable vendor on Amazon, I kept purchasing the product from them. If you shop around on Amazon for the same product, chances are, you'll find the same product cost drop from vendor to vendor. I usually purchase from a vendor with at least a 99% acceptable rating and one that usually sells in bulk to a large quantity of people. I won't buy from a vendor with a lot of negative feedback because the likely of running into problems with that vendor and a particular product is likely to be a problem with one of your orders.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend this product and purchasing here on Amazon. As I said earlier, compare with some of the local pet stores in price with the same product. I guarantee that once you factor in your costs on commute and the product itself, you will find it more convenient and cheaper to purchase online. Your pet will love you for it too!
My dog loves these....October 18, 2008 H. A. Lipps(Cincinnati, OH USA) I have been using Greenies for my White German Shepherd for about 4 years. She loves them and the only time I had any doubts was when I had a friend tell me they read some disturbing information concerning dogs getting sick from Greenies. I did some research and discovered that the people whose dogs got sick were NOT FOLLOWING THE RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE BOX! Specifically, the problem was feeding the smaller size (petite and teenie) to a large dog, like my 90 pound shepherd. The box clearly states which size to feed your dog based on weight. Feeding the small sizes to large dogs results in the dog swallowing the Greenies whole, not chewing them up like the product was designed for the dog to do. The result was the Greenie not being digested properly and becoming trapped in the digestive system. I understand the product has been reformulated to prevent this from happening, but it wouldn't have been necessary if people would just READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM! Regardless, if you are a responsible pet owner and are looking for a wholesome treat that also helps keep your pet's teeth clean, I highly recommend Greenies.

They price them at about $1.68 ea. if you break it down, but you can get them else where at anywhere from about $1.05 ea. to $1.50 ea. (including shipping even though Amazon offers free shipping). This is total price, mind you. Go buy these great treats for your doggie somewhere else!
