Most cat owners I've talked to had experiences that weren't much different than the nightmare parody. Well no more! This product made it unbelievably easy to give a pill!
My cat just went on heart medication. The (chicken) Pill Pockets work fabulously! I put several other treats or wet food on his plate at the same time. He usually eats the pill pocket somewhere in the middle of the snack. If its the only thing on the plate, he won't eat it though. My vet sold me the first bag of pill pockets. Now I'm back to buy more at a much lower price.
Great product, but came in terrible conditionJanuary 23, 2008 Jessie-messie-bo-bessie(Florence, MA United States) Fabulous product, my cat comes begging for her "treat" when it's pill time. The package looked fine, but the pill pockets inside the bag were crushed, smushed, and crumbled. Got them from Entirely Pets.
A Godsend!December 9, 2007 T. Koonce(Oklahoma) When my cat started having seizures last spring, the vet put him on phenobarbital tablets daily. If you've ever tried giving a cat a pill you know how difficult, time consuming, and disheartening this can be. I was NOT looking forward to a daily ritual of mutual torture for myself and my cat, so the vet recommended these. They have literally saved me (and my cat) HOURS of stress! You simply place the pill inside the pocket, form it into a ball, and feed it to your cat. My cat is finicky, but he LOVES these!
